![]() This is a list of uncommon-only pets, with alternative pets with the same set of abilities if pressent. Good luck!Ĭomment by TrulyI loved AMIB's post on Flawless Aquatic Battle-Stone, but as he/she hasn't been around for more then a year, I would like to continue the trend. Just find an area where you want to level your lowbie pets that has the type of critters consistent with the stone you need the most of (usually Beast, Flying or Critter, since these types have the most pets that cannot be obtained above Uncommon quality.) Also, remember that if you've got one or two stones of a type you don't need, you can farm the additional one(s) to make 3, and then trade them in for a Marked Flawless Battle-Stone that can be used for any pet. My results: 96 battles = 3 Critter stone, 1 Beast stoneĪs you can see, it would appear that you can indeed farm a certain kind of stone. My experience had shown that not to be true, so I decided to do some testing and post my results in case anyone wanted to farm for a specific type of Battle-stone.īattling Aquatic pets (which have 3 aquatic pets about 50% of the time, and 2 aquatic/1 flying about 50% of the time.) My results: 178 battles = 6 Aquatic stone, 1 Flying stone, 1 Humanoid stoneīattling Flying pets (which have 3 flying pets about 50% of the time, and 2 flying/1 aquatic about 50% of the time.) My results: 142 battles = 3 Flying stone, 1 Aquatic stone, 1 Critter stone, 1 Flawless Battle-Stone (which can be used on anything)īattling Critter pets which usually have all Critters, and occasionally have a Beast in the group. I kept reading people say that the type of battle pet you fight has nothing to do with the type of Battle-Stone you receive, and that it's completely random. While you may occasionally receive some other type of stone, you definitely have a higher chance of receiving an aquatic stone by fighting aquatic pets, for example. This is great news for pet traders as it gives yet another viable way to turn a profit out of battle pets.Ĭomment by AlaurynnYou CAN farm a specific type of Battle-Stone by battling pets of that same type. ![]() In my opinion Blizz have really shone with the introduction of these Battle-Stones as there are countless examples of pets that are rare or desirable in some respect and yet by some over-sight were made uncommon. These are just a small sample of some of the popular beast pets there are - there are of course many more but I won't list them as someone already got there in another post. ![]() Dun Morogh Cub can be bought for 40 Champions Seals in Icecrown. ![]()
